Services

Everything we do —in plain English.

We’ll quote any of these on-site. The price you get is the price you pay — no surprise add-ons, no upsells.

  • Weekly Mowing

Same morning every week. Bermuda kept tight in spring, eased up half an inch when August lands so the lawn keeps its color.

Weekly or every-other-week mowing on a fixed day so you know when to expect the trailer. Sharp blade every visit — a clean cut beats a torn one. Through April–September we run Bermuda short (1.0 to 1.25 inch); when triple-digit afternoons start we lift to 1.5 to keep moisture in. Bagging on request, mulch-cut by default. Side and back yards every visit unless you tell us otherwise. Walks and drive blown clean before we leave.

  • Edging & Trimming

Power-edged borders and hand-trim around the fence, the AC pad, and the mailbox post — every visit, no exceptions.

Edged borders that hold a sharp line through the week — driveway, walks, beds, and the curb. String-trim around the fence, the AC condenser, the mailbox, and the trees the mower can’t reach. Every visit ends with a blower pass on the walks and the driveway so nothing tracks back into the garage.

  • Flower-Bed Cleanup & Planting

Beds weeded by hand, perennials cut back at the right time, fresh annuals tucked in for spring and fall.

Hand-pulled weeds in the front beds, the foundation row, and the back. We cut perennials back when each plant is ready (not on the calendar), refresh the bed lines, and plant the seasonal flat — pansies and snapdragons going into October, lantana and salvia going into May. We work around your edibles if you have them.

  • Mulch Refresh

Hardwood, dark cedar, or dyed black — installed at a real 2 inches so the beds hold moisture through the Garland summer.

Old mulch raked and pulled where it’s clumped, then fresh hardwood, dark cedar, or dyed black laid 2 inches deep with a clean edge against the lawn. Bulk-delivered for the bigger jobs, bagged for tight beds along the foundation. Spring is the heavy refresh; a half-load top-up in fall keeps things tidy through winter.

  • Seasonal Cleanups

The big two — leaves, sticks, and dead growth out; mulch, edges, and beds reset for the season.

A full-property reset twice a year. Spring: cut back perennials, lift winter debris, edge beds, refresh mulch, plant the spring flat. Fall: bag pecan and oak leaves before they mat the lawn, blow out beds and gutters from the ground, prep the lawn for dormancy. Two passes for the heavy-tree streets along Apollo, Glenbrook, and the Buckingham side.

  • Shrub & Hedge Trim

Boxwoods, hollies, and the front-walk shrubs cleaned up so the house looks tended from the curb.

Hand-shears for the shaped hedges, power trimmer for the long hedge runs along property lines. Cleaned up and bagged on the spot — no piles left for you to deal with. Timed to the plant: late winter for the hard cuts, light summer touch-ups to keep shape.

  • Sod & Bare-Spot Repair

Bermuda or St. Augustine — graded, laid, rolled, and a watering schedule you can actually follow.

For full lawns: light grading, fresh sod laid in a brick-pattern with tight seams, rolled in, watering schedule for the first three weeks. For bare spots — the dog-run line, the side yard the previous owner gave up on — we patch with matching sod and walk you through the first month.

  • Gravel & Stone Walkways

Decomposed granite, river rock, and flagstone walkways — set on a real base so they stay put.

Smaller hardscape we do in-house: DG paths, dry-set flagstone walkways, river-rock dry creeks for the side yards that puddle. Compacted base, geotextile underlayment, and edges that hold through Texas freeze-thaw. For full paver patios we partner with a friend in Mesquite who builds them and we project-manage.

Starts at $600 · per visit

Most weekly customers add cleanups, mulch, and the odd hardscape job — there’s usually a flat-rate way to handle that.
